Burgundy Fly celebrates 8 years of successful entrepreneurship by opening their 5th store in Menlyn park mall and revamping its Rosebank store
Thursday 21 March 2017, Johannesburg.
100% black-owned South African fashion retailer Burgundy Fly celebrates its eighth successful year in business by opening a fifth new store in Menlyn Park Shopping Centre, Pretoria and revamping its store in trendy, fashion-forward suburb Rosebank.
“We’re excited to open a new store in Menlyn Park Shopping Centre because Pretoria is a very diverse and multi-cultural area. It’s perfect to further grow our business by attracting new customers and celebrating our unique South African heritage with them,” says Nobesuthu Ndlovu, co-owner of Burgundy Fly.
One of the critical elements that have successfully kept Burgundy Fly in business for eight years is maintaining an intuitive approach to running a company and staying ahead of the curve when it comes to pre-empting and meeting customer needs.
Nhlanhla Ndlovu, co-owner of Burgundy Fly adds: “One of the things we have learnt over the years is to ensure that we are in tune with what our valued customers need and also try to preempt their tastes by offering products and services that may be of interest to them, such as our 24-hour online shopping platform. We offer gorgeous capsule collections, with new ranges presented in all our stores every week. Also, our beautiful boutique-size stores are designed for time-conscious shoppers who simply don’t have the time to trawl through overwhelming racks and racks of garments.”
Burgundy Fly is so much more than a fashion retailer that offers customers exclusive garments made by South African designers in one-of-a-kind quirky, yet elegant prints. In addition to creating platforms for creatives to showcase their products and accessories, Burgundy Fly is also all about initiating meaningful conversations and expanding an ecosystem of support for both established and budding businesses.
